Thank you for the advice! If I get this guy, I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions in the coming years. The owner has re-done virtually everything on the suspension (and then some). Hopefully these images help for context!- andrewCA

Wheel to fender measurement on a stock 1998 Tahoe 4x4 LS
Hi there, I'm looking to purchase a 1998 Tahoe from a private seller. Seller claims the vehicle comes with a 6" Rancho lift kit. The Rancho lift manufacturer claims they only made a 2.5" and 4" kit for that model. I'm not sure who to believe (seller doesn't have the receipt). Short story...- andrewCA
