    Yes, first removed AC comp belt, then serpentine. Microphones indicated the loudest sound on the bottom right side under the #8 cylinder. Was quiet at the front and around the transmission. Thought maybe the starter was stuck but it and the flywheel looked good

    Yep, first thing I did was remove AC belt, ran for a couple weeks like that and still had the sound. Ran the engine in the garage with serpentine belt off, still had the noise when reving engine

    I put microphones down the transmission and it is quiet. Slight squeal when i rev it up in park but definitly louder as the engine is required to produce torque e.g. up hills and accelerating.
