I found only 1/2 in of insulation removed from the heavy red wire coming from the fuse box to the battery. 2001 Tahoe sat for abt a yr or 2 with voltage drop issue. I rewired the usual rear of engine block wire , made it heavier, Rewired a heavier wire to frame form Battery and added another to the alternator, It would still drop to 9volts and then stall after abt 2 hrs. You could see...- 2001tahoe2025
