    Thanks for the warm welcome lol! I have used 5w-20 synthetic blend high mileage by Valvoline...I don't know much about valves or heads but I think it's time to learn...head probably need it as it seems to have a rotten egg odor from exhaust...

    I forgot to mention a diagnostic scan at AutoZone revealed only that it was misfiring on cylinder 5. It runs and drives pretty good though.

    I just bought 2010 Tahoe..242 k on it I was told truck had no issues, have had it for three weeks now and check engine light came on and it was a quart low on oil.. I added quart of oil and light went off. only thing I noticed wrong other than it needing oil is the cool air/mass air flow filter...
