pulling the motor
Just finished replacing my 5.7 in my 98. It is pretty straight forward. Make sure you remove the fan before you take off the belt .. much easier. Don't forget to undo the torque converter and you can sit the starter to the side without undoing the wires. It is a little bit od a problem getting...- Fireguy1

Rear door problems
My back doors keep corroding up and then I can't get the locks to open and the rear defrost won't work. I have sanded the pins with fine sandpaper but that only lasts for a little while. Any suggestions as to what I could do to fix this??- Fireguy1

Headlight problem
I have the same problem and I removed the steering wheel covering and found that the wires are melted. I tried to fix them but to no availle. I think that with the tilt steering the wires break and then short out. I'm not sure the procedure of removing the steering wheel with the air bags. you... -

02 tahoe will not shift above second!?
Dimmer switch removal I no longer have a dimmer on my 1998 Yukon. I plan to replace it myself. I'm not sure the procedure with the Air bags. Transmission problems
transmission fluid is full, clear with no smell. Took it for a ride today,,, shifted through all gears 1 - OD then after warmed up dropped to nuetral. Yukon was parked for 10 months.
