    My OEM water pump failed at 130K and took the entire manifold out with it. It’s a crapshoot. Replaced with a Gates.

    Well, if that is the case I’m all for it. Especially since I’m a huge fan of how the new gen Charger looks. I mean I think it looks sweet. But I hate EV. If it was ICE I probably would already have one.

    I had an 84 Buick Electra park ave and the seats .. had no business being that comfortable. Seriously.. soft plush pillow tops.. Now seats kinda feel more like a park bench. Compared to that at least.

    In all of what, the 2 models they’ve got left with ICE? Now if they brought back ICE powered Charger & Challenger, I’m game exactly. Interesting perspective. So run and buy 100,000$ work truck, 4x4, with capabilities you’ll never need and a pain in the butt to drive and park in the city...

    Nothing’s going to change from the manufacturer standpoint. They’ll keep doing what they’re doing now. You can say well the laws have been changed. Who’s to say those laws wont change again in 4 years. Manufacturers are business that only care about the bottom line, and the risk vs. reward...

    At first i was thinking like engine braking, maybe an issue with your brake calipers. But with a clunk sound, it sounds like a transmission issue, maybe torque converter ? Far from an expert on transmissions, so I’m just speculating.

    When you did that change, did you put 8 or 9 qts of oil ? And as far as the page counts are concerned, it’s not that complicated fellas. Looks like forum admins increased the post count per page from the abnormally low 10 posts per page, and that’s what reduced the page count for many threads.

    Not really strange. Alternators tend to give little warning before giving out, aside from maybe a few electrical oddities that can be easily missed especially during highway travel. If you’re over 200k on a stock alternator it’s probably good practice to go ahead and replace it before it fails...
