trying to decide on what to get for lng tubes either obx or keep saving for kooks or american racing. I cant find any other ss ones or good coated and heard too many having issues with pacesetters on the 07 and up 4x4 ones.
u have dod so limited to what cams u can run unless you make major mods to it so just do bolt ons and sure you will be happy or if lookng big gains then supercharge it .
u have either 373 or 410 and need 488 to get back to where you were and will have to do front and rear gears or cannot use 4x4 if u only do the rear. so if on a budget do rear and front later just dont engage 4x4 or it will bind up then break.
not gonna see much from the shorites I found a great article on that set of headers vrs the kooks long tubes and long tubes burried the shorites and very little over stock.
I have seen similar with mine on a 5.3 but I got more from the tune and the volant cold air is about the same. plus seeing 4+ mph with my tune. really went after timing and dod settings on mine
buying a good one is way to go unless good at fabing stuff. I can make anything and still bought a volant for my truck. air aid is cheap and really good for 200 bucks cant beat it.
