    Anyone have a fix to help protect these giant plastic door sills, the ones you step on when getting in and out of vehicle? Mine are getting pretty beat up already. Can’t believe GM made them that big. Going to be quite the eye sore when these vehicles get 10 years old.

    Its the 6.2. I take it these use oil? Its already in the driveway. Did a 500 mile trip to get it so it will be a good time to check to see if oil is low. I did check before we left dealership.

    Would it be beneficial to drop pan get a transgo valve body rebuild kit, new wire harness, new temp sensor and see if that helps any? That seems like a fairly easy process I can do one weekend.
