    2025 Tahoe Bose 10 speaker add amp/subwoofer

What do you want clarification on? If you have a sub then you have a decent signal line to tap into. Regardless if your mics are used for ANC (I don’t think they are in that system) my experience, in MY system was that the ANC system isn’t playing the noise out of the subwoofer at all - it’s...

    2025 Tahoe Bose 10 speaker add amp/subwoofer

I have the bose performance series system and tapped in the sub channel, no ANC bypass and no issues. I think there’s a lot of misinformation online that the ANC on all models and amp combinations even uses the sub at all for ANC. With the Lc2i you probably can compensate for using a door...

I had the GM Performance Exhaust installed

Valve regulates the noise during DFM modes otherwise in some transient throttle positions you’d hear a faint chopping sound - akin to a helicopter in the distance.

BREAKING: GM is officially recalling the L87

Can you add your oil analysis here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13nUaSs6n_jkZ-50RD5RyBFWZyqb5HGoOxQ7LNxB5018/edit?usp=drivesdk or send them to me and I’ll add it. You’re one of the few I’m aware of that has data and a failure.

Oil analysis 0-20 Wolf after 10,000 km or 6,250 miles

Try this link below if you are interested. It may take some feedback to sort out the logistics - I tried to include some instructions, initial data etc. I locked down a few fields and tabs to prevent it from devolving into disjointed data. If we get some data added I'll try and add a data...

BREAKING: GM is officially recalling the L87

Would anyone be interested if I started a crowd sourced google sheet for anyone that wants to add their oil analysis as a reference point? I supposed we could have a tab/sheet if your vehicle passes/failed the test so people wouldn’t have to go through hundreds of pages of wandering...

Oil analysis 0-20 Wolf after 10,000 km or 6,250 miles

FFS stop the eggplant measuring contest arguing about oil weight. None of you are engineers and none of you seem remotely interested in changing your minds. Nobody cares what you think. Now I’m done addressing the children, what does everyone think if I tried to start us a google Sheet and...

Oil analysis 0-20 Wolf after 10,000 km or 6,250 miles

My last 3 oil analysis I’ve never had more than .5% fuel in my gen 5 l87 for what it’s worth. I have been extremely lucky though, my engine seems to be almost perfect.

    S&B Intake

Appreciate you writing this up and giving them props. Very few companies would do that on their own dime these days, and so many people are so quick to write a diatribe when they’re inconvenienced but not a follow up when they get help.

    2022 Tahoe Premier ANC question

Yes sir. Personally I’d either order the ANC but install everything without it, leave the panels off, DRIVE IT on the highway make sure you don’t have feedback then return it so you don’t have to disassemble again. Just because I didn’t need it doesn’t mean you won’t buy. No sense spending $40...

    2022 Tahoe Premier ANC question

There appears to be a fair amount of confusing and conflicting information on this topic. It depends what sound system you have and where you pull your bass signal from. My 16 speaker center point getting signal from the sub high level out of the amp I did not need it. If you use a door speaker...

Catch can green light for me, edited

Is your hypothesis the catch can would have prevented lifter failure? Trying to understand the context there.

    Additional Jack Points

Oh those are the two places not to lift it though!? Are you doing it this way to avoid scratching the under coat or just habit?

How do you Jack/Support your truck?

That’s exactly my issue, I’ve tried rubber and wood too but inevitably it’ll wear it off. I have cans of the WoolWax aerosol that’s OK for touching up spots but I’m not trying to make a quick oil change into a big ordeal. Wish there were some better approved lift points…

2023 Yukon Denali 6.2L Idle Vibration

It’s just trying to idle as low as possible. What specific problem are you trying to solve of it drives fine?

How long to wait for new engine?

I don’t think strangers on the internet will know better than your dealer. Some may have past experience but that probably has little bearing on your dealers supply.

    Amplifier 2022 Yukon

Hard to answer without knowing which system you have but it should be in the drivers side rear inside the big wheel wheel liner. Crutchfield has a guide or you could use the JL audio stealthbox install guide.

Do you have anything to contribute to the actual question?

How do you Jack/Support your truck?

How are tall lifting your trucks to do work without marring the frame wax? Rubber pads? Are you just using the suspension? Pucks?

10db audio volume difference between front seats and middle seats

Catch can green light for me, edited

Well, nothing matters if it’s not in writing. If you throw a rod or whatever and say “the service manager said my mod was fine” GM isn’t going to give a shit. Any time there’s extensive engine failure they’re forced to do extensive documentation they have to send in - specifically so expensive...

    Rear A/C and entertainment controls

Can you show a picture of the top part of the console, do you have cup holders there? I replaced the equivalent part but mine is newer with the sliding console. I had to take the cup holder liner out, took screws out there and from there you could remove the pieces on down.

    Oil catch cans freaking work

It for sure condensates significantly more when it is cold out and it seems if you do short drives in the cold it is even worse and won heat up enough for that to evaporate. I don’t drive enough in the cold to worry. It does seem they can be a bit unnecessary for some and it may be hard to...

    Oil catch cans freaking work

Thought I would just throw my results in. EE catch can, about 55k miles, oil is Mobile 1 0w20 Extended Performance (for now). I put about 2,500 miles on my truck and got just barely enough oil to cover the bottom of the catch can.

    2024 yukon denali range estimate

I don’t think it’s over-engineering, as much as it is a feature that’s trying to be more sophisticated than literally multiplying your instantaneous current mpg by remaining gas and giving you a value. There are hundreds of thousands of customers who all have different opinions, driving...
