Make sure you’ve been through all of the various options that the HUD can display. And make sure you both have the same OnStar plan, too. Then, if you still don’t have the same info available, I’d check into a software upgrade.- KMeloney

3rd row dome light on with lift gate?
I don't have my interior lights to come on when I approach the truck with my key fob. So, I am able to open my tailgate without the other interior lights coming on first -- and I found that opening the tailgate only turns on the rear light, and not any other interior lights, like the OP... -

Right. That’s what I discovered earlier today. But, the OM clearly says “any door” and not “any passenger door,” which I find to be misleading. -

That's got to be a setting, 'cause mine don't do that. ...And I've also determined that opening the tailgate only kicks on the rearmost overhead light, like the OP says. -

What year is your truck? My OM states (I'm reading it right now), "The dome lamps come on when any door is opened." I haven't paid attention to whether or not that's true -- but that's what my OM says. -

The owner's manual says that all interior lights should come on when any door is opened (unless you have it configured differently/have the roof center console button overriding it)... -

So, there's no way to change the THRESHOLD, is there? I've been finding recently that if it's a gloomy, cloudy day, and near sundown (but not there yet), then until my headlights eventually kick on, the various SWITCHES (not the DIC or main screen) remain unlit/dark and hard to see. I don’t know the answer to your question, but can say that at least here in PA, Autozone (and maybe other similar places) will take their scanner out to your car and scan your codes for free. Geez, I don't know off the top of my head. They're the factory ones that came on the truck. I see on here where people seem to hate them, but I haven't been able to fault them in 3200 miles. -

Looks great! And are you happy with your mud flaps? They look so good and "factory" that I'm reminded I need to get mine on my truck (assuming they'll look just as good and subtle as they do on yours). -

Good stuff. I'd just advise anyone using the fishing-line method to keep the pressure on the line outward/away from the applique and against the back of the letters so as to avoid sawing the line across the applique's finish. (I'm sure you did just that, but think it's a good note of precaution...- KMeloney
