    Air Shocks not Pumping Up?

I would have thought the computer would throw a code tho, common not to throw a code?

    Air Shocks not Pumping Up?

I have a 2018 Yukon XL Denali with the MagRide / air shocks in back. I swapped in a set of ARNOTT AS3429 to delete the MagRide but retain the air shocks to level the truck out when towing. Swapped the shocks in July of last year. I have towed since installing them and the truck leveled out...

Ditched the 22 Snowflakes for 18" AT4 Wheels

I sold the wheels for $850 on Marketplace yesterday. I had over 50 people contact me about them with ~10 ready to buy them for full asking. I was asking $750, someone messaged me offering $850 if I would hold them for him. Amusingly enough, I had plenty of $400 offers too.

Looking to Buy New Battery Cables

Can you provide a link to the cable? I searched their site and could not locate the short cable from the battery to the fuse panel on top of the battery.

Ditched the 22 Snowflakes for 18" AT4 Wheels

Wow. I was expecting $400 or so for them, the tires are no good. I spent $900 on the set I have now and would be happy to break even.

Ditched the 22 Snowflakes for 18" AT4 Wheels

I just put some 20" wheels with 275/60r20 Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts from a '22 Sierra Friday. Much happier with the ride and appearance. Was also cheaper than a new set of tires. I now have a set of 22" snowflakes to sell too. Any ideas what they go for?

    Battery Replacement a Professional Job?!

We have the 'auto-lock' feature turned on. I opened the driver's door, opened the hood, closed the door, the alarm set, then I swapped the battery. My thought (hindsight) is the truck was not happy power was lost for a period of time while the alarm was active.

Radio Display Flickers in 2015 Tahoe

Mine has started doing the same. I replaced the battery and the negative ground cable (they were due). Did not fix issue. I was hopeful but knew it likely wasn't my issue. Anyone else with same issue and find a fix? Thanks.

Looking to Buy New Battery Cables

Rock Auto has a 'Standard' brand short positive cable. Does anyone have a source for the OEM cable?

    Battery Replacement a Professional Job?!

I replaced the battery and the negative cable this morning. Wasn't a bad job. The negative cable was mildly annoying, had to pull the passenger tire and wheel liner to get to the engine ground. Someone could have warned me the alarm will start going off when the battery is hooked back up...

Breaking the Bead on a 22"

Ohh, it's done! I used a 4" hole saw in the center of the tread beside the valve stem. It worked great. Absolutely no damage to the wheel, but plenty of damage to the (worn-out) tires. The wife and I are happy with the new wheels/tires.

Breaking the Bead on a 22"

I attempted to break the bead tonight on one of the wheels. No bueno. I placed the wheel/tire on the floor of my garage, put the foot of my high lift jack in on a board on the sidewall, put the lift foot in the receiver hitch of my jeep, and jacked it up/down. Lifted the jeep off the ground...

Looking to Buy New Battery Cables

LOL! I would never mod her car without her knowing. She is SO particular about her vehicle. I just bought 2022 Sierra wheels for it last night. We talked about it and looked at various OEM wheels (neither of us like aftermarket wheels for a daily) for MONTHS.

Breaking the Bead on a 22"

So... I have a 2018 Yukon XL Denali with the 22" chrome snowflake wheels. I picked up a set of 20" OEM wheels off a 2022 Sierra. The previous owner of the 20" wheels had a tire shop break the outer bead and pull his sensors. This got me thinking, as I am a cheapskate... I could do the same...

Looking to Buy New Battery Cables

Thanks for the link with the correct cables Fless. I just ordered them from Rock Auto for a couple dollars cheaper than the link you provided. They will be here Friday and I will see how joyous it is to swap them out this upcoming weekend. Trey, this is my wife's daily. I have no intention...

Looking to Buy New Battery Cables

Finally back in town to put a new battery in the wife's 2018 Yukon XL Denali. Was thinking it might be a good idea to replace the cables while I'm at it. It is my understanding the negative cable can cause weird electrical gremlins as it degrades. I looked on GM Parts Direct and can't figure...

    Battery Replacement a Professional Job?!

I had a 2015 Ford Escape, you have to pull the wipers, cowl panel, and several other doodads to get to the battery. I had to google where the battery even was. The wiper studs aren't even splined, they are just tapered. You have to be sure to reinstall the wiper arms clocked correctly. That...

    Battery Replacement a Professional Job?!

Something like that was my concern, and why I asked. This truck has more widgets and doodads than any vehicle I have ever owned. Glad to learn this one doesn't involve some sort of electronics wizardry.

    Battery Replacement a Professional Job?!

I have a 2018 Yukon XL Denali. Wife took it in for a leaking tire. They tested her battery while they had the car - curtesy check. They said it is a bit weak. I went on to Advance Auto's site to price a replacement, and they have it listed as a 'professional only' job. I've torn a few older...

Dual Battery Setup using OEM parts?

Thank you so much for documenting all of this information guys. I went to Windrock this weekend (Yukon XL tow rig, XJ for the trails), and left the Yukon sitting for the four day weekend. I kept the luggage in the back of the Yukon and was in and out of it all weekend. Went to start it up...

Weird Electrical issues [plus other isssues] with wife’s 16 Tahoe

I am having an electrical issue with my wife 2018 Yukon XL Denali and found your thread in looking for similar issues. I then did a quick search on YouTube and found the above video by this kid talking about fixing his mom's truck. Looks decent enough to help sort it out. I'll look at my...

    P0700 and U0100

Update. I drove the truck home after letting it set for ~4 hours (solely because we had other stuff to do in town). Truck started fine, drove fine, acted normal for the entire 50 mile drive. Got it home, shut it off, let it sit for 10 minutes, restarted (to simulate earlier conditions when...
