    I finally swapped out the stock Goodyear rubber for some Mickey Thompsons and it's honestly a night and day difference in terms of traction and capabilities, but ground clearance is still a big hangup. That and the lack of lockers.

    You're not wrong regarding the take-off deals, it's encouraging to hear that somebody is actually running these wheels and taking them off the beaten path. I've had several people recommend wheels but most of them never attack anything more aggressive than the curbs in the mall parking lot.

    I'm sorry I guess I wasn't clear, I mentioned the 35s because the only 6x139 wheels I'm seeing up for resale are TRX wheels that still have the oem 35s installed which I would love to run, but that's a no go.

    2023 Stock Z71 with 285/60R20

    60 sidewall being a ratio of the tread width means you've got a taller sidewall/tire overall as well, roughly 0.5" taller. I've been eyeballing some 34s so this is encouraging. Just a sneeze away from a 35 but it's close enough.
