Sorry to hear of this issue. Your engine quit from lack of oil. That is the kiss of death unfortunately. When run without oil the bearings will first go dry, start to drag, self destruct and take out connecting rods, the crank and that alone will leave your engine in need of a full overhaul...- West 1

Yep, they all clunk when shifting from 2wd to 4 low which has to be done in neutral, 2wd to 4wd high is silent normally.- West 1

I have fixed many with low oil pressure, did one with 270,000 miles on it. Installed the Melling High Volume Oil Pump along with the new Pick up tube Oring and it has 50 PSI at hot idle now. Be very careful choosing your new O ring for the pick up tube, there are 2 or 3 different designs...- West 1

HVAC mode blend door actuator not working properly
OK, Update for today! Found the issue finally. With the dash out I was able to lift the top of the defrost vent up from the dash a little which gave some visibility down through the windshield of the defrost duct door. I did not see anything but realized I could snake a hose down there... -

Dash is now removed, dashskin came out in one good piece but took about an hour or more to get it loose and out. Even with the dash out I have yet to discover why the second mode lever will not move more than 1/2 inch causing the actuator to stop working. Can't find any others that bumped... -

Dash is 100% removed, still no access to that lever for the Mode Actuator. Reaching down in all the vents can't quite reach the mode door that is affected. It still feels like something solid has dropped in there and it partially blocking movement. -

When the actuator rotates it moves till it hits resistance and stops. Unfortunately for me mine stops well before it moves into the vent or floor heat positions. It is stuck on Defrost. The stuck vent lever stops the actuator early. -
