    well here is something interesting…the fluid mentioned above in the bulletin, 88861800 is no longer made and was GM’s new name for the discontinued Dexron lll as GM no longer offers a license for Dexron lll... I think I will/should be okay using Valvoline MaxLife as it shows it is safe for Dex...

    every time I see that recommendation it shows for 2007 and newer transfer cases while mine is a 2005…why is this so confusing?... I look online at replacement transfer cases and the recommendation is Dexron Vl while some others even show 5W-30 full synthetic motor oil... Bill

    what does your owners manual call for???…mine says Dexron lll with the H designation Automatic Transmission Fluid for the transfer case… remember I have a Yukon Denali with AWD and no low gear just AWD all the time…Borg-Warner 4481/NR3 transfer case Bill

    because Dexron lll H is no longer certified by GM…I did find that Valvoline MaxLife Multi-Vehicle fluid is Dexron lll H listed as well as Dexron Vl... I keep being told this but have yet to find the actual source/TSB for it…the above mentioned Valvoilne MaxLife Multi-Vehicle transmission fluid...

    I believe the A/C Delco 41-962 is a Double Platinum plug, not an Iridium (if I am reading your post correctly eagle)…that is also the plug now spec’d for my 2005 GMC Yukon Denali over the original 41-985 Iridium plug…(going from iridium to double Platinum) Bill

    GT4 is the RPO for a 3.73 gear ratio...I have it as well...I thought the LSD was G80...my Yukon Denali does not have that...perhaps they discontinued the LSD by 2005... thanks, Bill

    does your Yukon Denali have an LSD or did you use LSD in your rear differential for another reason?... am I reading correctly that your rear shocks were replaced with Bilstein shocks???...if so, what is your rear compressor able to do since you no longer have the Z55 Autoride unless Bilstein...

    my 2005 GMC Yukon Denali does not have a cabin air filter despite RockAuto stating there is a replacement filter for one...there is no Cabin Air Filter listed in the owners manual either... Bill

    does it look like the pic of the one I attached above???...then it is a GMT400 (I believe)...Do you have a Vortec 350 or a 5.3/6.0 engine???...if it is the 350 it should be a GMT400...1999 and 2000 in the Escalade were GMT400s... ...Bill

    after a trip to Menards I had my glass hatch decide to close on my head after giving me no heads up ;) the struts were failing prior to the head bang... a quick visit to RockAuto.com and I bought new STRONGARM struts for the glass hatch as well as the hatch door itself... about $50 lighter in...

    put mine on a Deltran Battery Tender to bring the battery up to full capacity as it has been sitting in the garage while I flirted with work on a 2012 Chevy Traverse for the last month... ...the Traverse went to Carmax yesterday so my Denali will be hitting the road for errands today...:cool: Bill
