Transmission overheating, service 4wd message
2005 Yukon XL 2500 4x4 with 8.1 and auto 4wd, 200,000 miles. I've been getting the service 4wd message off and on for a few weeks. Sometimes it'll show up once per week and other times it is on every tune you start the vehicle. I haven't had to use 4wd since April and it was doing well then...- Ratchet2141

Automatic to Manual Trans swap... Anyone done it?
I'm wondering if anyone has tried this with any level of success. I know that the Dodge guys are doing it because of how crappy the Dodge automatics are, but I haven't heard of anyone doing it to a Tahoe or Yukon? What are your thoughts on it? Would it be fairly simple?- Ratchet2141
