Popping coming from from front wheel
99 Yukon, 5.7, 240,000 KMS, 4wd with "Auto" setting for xfer case. When driving and turning sharp corners I have sound coming from the LF wheel....sounds like someone crumpling up aluminum foil or a thin tin can...only happens when turning and moving. I through CV joints, so I jacked it up...- TonySev

99 Yukon, trans questions
Wife bought a new trailer and we're heading 700 miles south in June. My 99 Yukon doesn't have a tow/haul mode and I've always found the tranny shifts waaaaaaay to early. Q's. I've noticed folks say to never flush an old tranny. NP. What kind of filter do you get to replace the old one with...- TonySev

oil cooler lines leaking, 99 Yukon, 150,000 miles
My lines have been wet for a few years and now they are starting to drip a bit. I got an oil cooler line removal kit from GM ($100 CDN, adaper and 454 filter) but the wife just bought a new trailer (4500lbs) and I'm thinking an oil cooler would be a good thing to have.
