Do torsion bars wear out?
When i backed out the tosion adjusting bolt, the keeper key was already loose. I didnt hardly need the unloader tool as just a couple turns by hand on the tool gave me clearance to remove the keeper. Also, it appears the bar might have a slight bend to it. All the gm parts places say the part...- bgiff

Window/sunroof re kearn calibbration-Need fancy scanner?

Rooftop tents?
Will the factory rack on a 2001 support a rooftop tent? The manufacturer specs say “Vehicle mounting cross bars must have a dynamic weight load of at least 165 lbs.” I added 2 factory (junkyard) crossbars as a cheap reinforcement for a basket which seems more stable, but i just dont know if a...- bgiff

Headers on 2001 2500
Looking at headers on Ebay, there are some nice looking stainless headers that say they'll fit on a 2001 Silverado, Denali, 1500, 2500 etc but says it won't fit on my 2001 Sub 2500 with 6.0. Aren't Silverados and Suburbans virtually identical from the drivers seat forward?? Also wondering if...- bgiff
