    Radiator hoses, yes. On fuel hoses, it depends. On a low pressure carbureted system, I have used them. Higher pressure fuel injection requires different type of fitting.

    THREADS pulled out of oil pan drain plug.

    You can get the next size up oversized drain plug... They actually come in two or three sizes oversize at most part stores....but... I would just replace the oil pan. Gives you the excuse to do the o-ring on the oil pickup tube.

    The 90 degree ones come off the rear heater core, right behind the right rear tire. The aluminum ones look good. Considering where they live behind the tire, it's a good option. You will need two. Look online, they're readily available for between 15 and $20 each. About 5 or 6 feet of heater...

    As you can imagine, it's nothing you want to deal with out in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night.... With all your coolant running out the back of your vehicle. That alone puts it high up on the "preventative maintenance" list in my book....

    The picture below was a set of rear heater hoses changed at about 170,000 miles.... Plastic connector broke just by touching it. I'd hate to see what yours look like at over 200,000... So yeah, terrible place to put a couple heater hoses. But on that link above, you'll see what you need to do.

    .... And don't forget the two heater hoses behind your right rear tire! Especially at your mileage, they're not long for this world.... And when one goes it will empty your entire cooling system rather quickly.

    Good find! While you're at it, pull off the driver side valve cover see if you can clean out the PCV orifice. The reason is because the crankshaft should be holding a little vacuum, if you have enough oil coming out that dipstick tube and landing on the coils.... That sounds like you might...

    I would get a new ACDelco or Delphi fuel pump with the sender. The one you ordered may not have the wiring up to the plug that included a sending unit. And test the resistance of it prior to installing.

    The piece that's at the end of the hose is basically a screen made from plastic. What's disconnecting the hose from the vent valve solenoid, you can simply blow through it to make sure it's free-flowing.

    Go down by your carbon canister and locate your vent valve solenoid. You'll see it vents up a rubber hose that goes up by the fuel filler neck. Just take the vent valve solenoid out of the equation, retaining the hose that goes up by the filler hose.
