    4WD Switch?

    Your switch is going out. Go ahead and order a new one. Takes about five minutes to change out. You could take it apart and re solder the connections but I would just order one. They cost about $35.

    Valvoline high mileage and WIX filters...256,000 on the clock and going strong. Did have to change the oil cooler block off gasket last night though.

    I think I know what you are talking about. Does it sound like it is coming from under the dash around your feet? My son's does that. I need to get in there with a can of dry silicone and spray the pivot points on the pedals. That's what I think it is at least.

    4wd problems, need help

    Is your front drive shaft spinning? That is the problem I am having. The actuator engages but I get no power to the front. Put it up on the lift and the drive shaft never moves.

    Front Driveshaft Not Turning

    2005 Yukon with the NP246 transfer case. Front driveshaft is not turning. The actuator is working so it has to be in the transfer case. Before I get this taken out and worked on does anyone have any suggestions? Am I better off just ordering the $800 replacement transfer case?

    the dealer I took it to told me $400 because they would have to spend lots of time cleaning up the coolant plus the part from them is $80 instead of $15 to $20 at a parts store.

    both the location and the design...pinching the ears to remove the connector has been very difficult. I have searched for videos on the best way to do it with little luck. One video suggested using a zip tie to put circular pressure on the ears so I may try that. This is the part you will...

    It's the heater hose attachment. Pain in the a$$ to replace. I have one sitting in my son's truck because it's leaking a bit and need to replace. They cost about $20. You will need to get the 3 way connector and the hose connector.
