    I use Penzoil Platinum High Mileage 5W20 in my Ford focuses and 5W30 in my Yukon. It quited down the valve train noise I had in one of the focuses, and seams to had no ill effect on the Yukon. I can't say if that was the Penzoil specifically, or the switch to synthetic. Who has 5 quarts for $10?

    Interesting points, and I agree. But with me mainly using this rig for towing, I didn't want to leave any weak links. Most of that last post was written with some frustration, and didn't mean to question your decision. As a side note, all of my rubber lines look original, nice and dry and crusty.

    I found a decent price on the whole housing that included both doors. I figured if I was pulling the entire housing to work on one of the doors I would just replace the entire unit so I wouldn't have to do it again when the other door or my repair failed.
