    2004 6.0 NV4500 Tahoe

Alright mate thanks for the explanation about the Turbo choice.e Yes I was also thinking, you already should have enough towing power. And then you can rev it out when you go for a rip! Kinda cool you guys do manual swaps. I'm used to only drive manual since we are kinda the other way around...

Will that be such a difference in noise, a turbo setup? And my feelings says SC should be better for towing. But maybe if the turbo is not to large, it makes enough power/torq on lower rpms? And is your mate here on the forum? Make him crazy by only talking about TS Superchargers, then he will...

    2004 6.0 NV4500 Tahoe

Yes I only want 1/2 to 1 inch in the front, and 2 inch Eibach in the rear. In April I will have MOT and there is something wrong with my suspension/drivetrain parts. So if I need new springs, it will be Eibach, need new shocks, I will do Bilstein. But will see what I will end up with, you never...

BMW has rwd but I guess you know. But if you take a non M, they rarely have a lsd, and those are quite expensive. BMW is still my favorite brand and I really hope to be able to afford a e46 M3 some day. If not, a 330i or something will be joining the Hoe for sure, but with all the plans in mind...

Cool I see you’re also considering the Torqstorm sc. It looks very good on yt and really like the design and simplicity! Maybe you could buy one in the near future so you can show it of, helping me staying at home reading it while not spending money to save for the SC :D:D

    2004 6.0 NV4500 Tahoe

Haha yes exactly. Well before my Tahoe I had a few higher revving cars like a 98 BMW 323i 6 in line, which is probably the second smoothest engines after rotaries. Also had a 95 Honda Del Sol Vtec so that was around 8k rpm. And now just got my motorcycle license, I imagine the rotary engine...

    Tonny's 2001 Tahoe build

Don’t know the name, but it are factory wheels. It’s a SD1 V8 Vitesse S, most luxury version of this type of Rover.

Damn what a nice RX7!! Really hope to drive one some day, so keen to know and feel how a rotary car rides, let alone the car itself how it drives! Edit: btw, it will be somewhere in your thread, but how much did you lower your Tahoe?

    Tonny's 2001 Tahoe build

So today I visited my mate and he already had the spark plug wires in house! Time for some new ones since I just pasted 190k miles with the stock wires. And he has also done some maintenance of my cousins baby, who lives in North Weymouth :) New shocks and absorbers which I immediately saw...

Alright mate, hopefully those rear shocks where the problem, but it almost should be as you're saying, everything is new under your Hoe! Keen to see how such an exhaust would look on your Hoe. Keep on building :D

    Tonny's 2001 Tahoe build

Haha yes just driving 60ish mph while in my previous cars I would probably stay behind that little car, love it. I sometimes thought, should I look for a rwd Tahoe (which I probaby won't find in the Netherlands, but now I'm for sure I want to keep my Hoe for as long as possible. It's almost 2...

Maybe the LSD? Or something in the drivetrain, shafts etc. I have less knowledge then you but just shouting something what might bring ideas! :)

    Tonny's 2001 Tahoe build

We got snow in the Netherlands!! Not that it should be rare, but it's getting more rare each year. But now I know why 4x4 exists. Since I got my Tahoe, I drive it in 2Hi most of the time. Sometimes when it rains hard and I'm in a hurry, I will put it in Auto4wd. And will just run trough the...

DJM lower control arms VS keys

Oh haha your memory is better then mine, thanks. Well since I really like to possibilities it gives with the stock height but I like lowered more for the looks. So looking for a way in between and want to skip the spindles and work with the stock setup and even the Tahoe with the rear drop. If I...

DJM lower control arms VS keys

Go to know! Thanks :) Do you also know if it's true you can lower the front of the Hoe a bit with the stock spindles? Like 1/2 to 1 inch? Without compromising things obviously?

DJM lower control arms VS keys

This is a 2 inch lowering Eibach springs, but it are only the springs and I always see a bracket included with most American brand sets. These springs from Eibach say 2 inch drop on the rear...

DJM lower control arms VS keys

I just stumbled on this topic, as it is here already, I will ask here. I will get some 18s under my Hoe in the next few months. Also MOT coming. If things need renewed, I want to go Bilstein 4600 absorbers all around. And if so for the springs, I want a 2'' lower kit for the back. And from my...

    Torqstorm Single Charger Tuner Kit

Damn, the more nights I dream, the more I tend to go the SC way with the Torqstorm Supercharger. I did more research on youtube and google, it's just a really great design and company, great finish on the products. Bolts right on. Yeah you don't get a intercooler, but that has to be custom...

01 Tahoe tune incoming, what (cold) air filter and exhaust?

Does anyone has photo's or a video with a 200-919 or 200-912 cut trough Airaid M.I.T. / modular intake tube? Really keen to see how it looks inside... Or is it just a free flowing inside? Did search google already but it's sometimes difficult because it will focus more on the Europe websites...

    Cleaned and waxed

Nice job. Did you do any compounding/polishing? Tip for the front lights: wet sandpaper: 500 - 1000 - 2000 - 3000- then compounding with a polish, then a polish. Can be done by hand or what I do, with my Flex PXE machine. And maybe the most important thing after that, protection. A coating for...
