Thanks Sunlit, I'll try to spin wheels on a slick surface and see what happens. Does turning one wheel while the rear is lifted and observing what direction the opposite wheel turns indicate anything on this type of rear end? Same direction = posi diff opposite directions = open diff...- Tbruz

Thanks wma4553 I got the radio out of a 2000 Tahoe and rebulbed it. There's a youtube video of removing and replacing the bulbs, they are soldered in but fairly easy to do if you're comfortable with a soldering iron. Dark Argent Fender Flare Oxidation
Pretty sure that's the base material of the flare itself. The OEM flares are a yellow foam type material and they can be painted any color. Best bet is to have a body shop look at refinishing those on the vehicle. Taking these off will be costly as the crash book I saw gets 3.5 hours each for... -

Z71/limited fog lights
The fog lights themselves are available online at a bunch of places for around 100 bucks shipped. The 2 mounting bucket are the issue, they're NLA and not readily available. The switch itself is also NLA but you can find that occasionally. If somone is creative they could probably figure out... -

Thanks for the info; seems hit or miss on which packages, Sport , LS LT Z71 got any/all of the skid plates. I've seen two so far with only gas tank plates and nothing else...can't be sure they came that way from GM but the current owners claim they never took off the front diff or xfer case...- Tbruz
