No, as the fob was brand new and I wasn't getting a low battery message. It resolved immediately when I switched the key fob # in my profile. I suppose I could still have a low battery in the other one and it really wasn't the profile issue but actually a low battery in the other key fob. I'll...
@Joseph Garcia That was it! No more horn beeping 3 times on start-up now that I have the correct key fob linked under my profile. It does give the option to have both key fobs linked but I think if you were to do that, not sure how the truck would know it’s me and not my wife’s profile.
Seems like Laura Buick GMC was the most-aggressive I saw online but that’s in STL and you’d have to deliver or fly in/drive home.

May have figured this out. I had my profile set up for key 1 but was using key 2. I switched to key 1 and haven't had any issues with 3 beeps upon starting since. I'm guessing it has something to do with my Yukon thinking the key isn't in the vehicle due my starting it with the one not...
Periodically I will climb in my Yukon, close the door and press the start button with the key fob in my pocket. The horn will beep 3 times in quick succession then the vehicle will start. I can't figure out what's going on here, and wondering if the vehicle isn't recognizing my key fob or if...
My truck was returned to me on Saturday evening with a new transmission seal (the tech said the seal had a big wrinkle in it causing the leak). Drove it around town on Sunday and this morning and everything seemed to be in good working order! Photos to follow of front windows tinted as they...
Update to add: Just heard back from the Service Advisor and they found the transmission seal to be defective. One is on order and fingers-crossed, that will fix the problem. Joke of the day:
"Why doesn't GMC build refrigerators?"
(Answer below)
"Because they can't figure out how to...
Unfortunate turn of events: while getting my clear bra and window tint done, they informed me a huge pool of transmission fluid had leaked out on to their floor. Checked at home and a bunch there too. FML. Less than 100 miles on the odometer and back to the dealership. PRAYING this isn’t...
I couldn’t agree more! I’ll update this thread (unless the mods prefer me to do so in the Exterior sub forum) on ride characteristics, etc. over the course of the next few months. I’ll also be able to comment on a comparison as I’ll be mounting the 22”s back on in the late spring.
Honestly I don't feel they really look as absurd as I thought they might. Unless you really look hard at them, or the fronts are turned/ looking directly on from the rear, they don't stand out as much as I thought. I really like the look of the AT4 rims with these tires too: MUCH more brawny...
...After (20" AT4 takeoff swap with 275/60R20 Goodyear Duratrac's). Keeping the 22's for spring/summer and running the 20's in fall and possibly winter:
Thank you! That's great feedback. My dealer has a Sierra with the 6.2 and the performance exhaust. May take it for a highway drive to see if I can hear any drone. My concern is that I'll spend 99% of my time driving my Yukon in 10th gear with the cruise set at 75 MPH. With that being said, I...
Any updates to those whom have installed performance mufflers? @Bigmanny how are you liking your setup? I’m SO on the fence with this and if I should pull the trigger on the 6.2 OEM setup for my Denali that just arrived.
When COVID lets up and I’m back to my normal job operation, I’ll be...
Will do! Should be either today or tomorrow. I’m praying I don’t get any rubbing but don’t think I will as the overall tire and rim size of the 20’s vs the 22’s are nearly identical. Only concern is the freakin’ huge tread lugs that extend slightly out.
No, it’s the 6.2. I had terrible experiences with diesels in 3 BMW X5’s I owned back to back a number of years ago before the German auto manufacturers pulled all diesel vehicles from the US. Where I live in MN we have the highest percentage of biodiesel blend of anywhere in the country and I...
I was blown away by the exterior lighting and didn’t realize there was such great light coming off the mirrors. The “perimeter lighting” is outstanding and reminds me exactly of my under-cabinet kitchen lighting. Wow, has this vehicle checked all the boxes so far!
