    OEM Nav replacement

We've been using the PAC OS4 data module with the Advent OGM1 and it works great with the Centerpoint system. The only issue we know of is that since the chimes are built into BOTH the OGM1 and the factory amp, you'll get a subtle "dual chime" at bootup. Other than that, everything works as it...

how to install overhead DVD in 2010 suburban

There is a big horizontal bar under the headliner that runs side to side where the "B" pillar is and supports the roof. You could hang a swing for your kids from it...

    Pioneer vs Kenwood vs Other...

You may want to look at the Advent OGM-1 - it's a factory look navi that comes with iGo Primo software, and it doesn't give up much at all to the other units you were looking at, while keeping all of the factory stuff (OnStar, Bose, XM, steering wheel and rear console controls) without adaptors...

    2012 Navigation System

Take a look at the Advent OGM-1 - for ~half price of the factory navi, it kicks A**. In fact, I bought a 2011 Tahoe on Saturday mainly so I could install one in my own rig... Walt

Any Ideas on places to hide an XM antenna?

Only place we've ever done it is on the roof inside the luggage rack. If you go inside, you'll have issues in rural areas where there are no XM repeater antennas.

GMX-550 in Escalade EXT: Operation Videos

Yeah, the instructions with this piece generally suck... The rear camera wire is the dark blue wire in the top right port, top right pin in the left I/P Junction block (to the left of the brake pedal - pull the cover off and you'll see the wires underneath). Verify this goes hot when you go...

    OEM Nav Help

VSS wire is on the back of the left I/P junction block (big covered block to the left of the brake pedal). Pop off the cover, squeeze the clips and swing the whole assembly out, then turn it around. Looking from top to bottom, you'll have two large plugs (from top: "X1" & "X2") and two small...

GMX-550 in Escalade EXT: Operation Videos

We just did a very cool GMX-550 install in an Escalade EXT that had the factory navi but no rear entertainment, so we programmed the head unit for DVD output, added Rosen rear seat headrest monitors and a front camera, and shot the following two videos showing just about all facets of the...

    Advent OGM1

My first post here, but I have been a long-term GM-Trucks forum poster. There are many hundreds of posts relating to the OGM-1 there and almost unanimously, everyone's happy with the unit. I support it better than anyone in the country and have had spectacular luck with it since it's been...
