    I just had my TC and flexplate replaced in January and I am SUUUUPER pissed that I didnt think of it, nor did my mechanic suggest it: replace the rear main seal. So angry.

    Source? It wouldnt surprise me. NGK dealt with iridium early in the game because of them jap-o-neese ve-hicles I referenced. They kinda started using that tech earlier than the murican brands.

    Just type in supertech oil filter and you'll get a bunch. But here's one: Project farm also just did a supertech VS redline oil review. Redline took the trophy but not by much. Certainly not worth 2x the cost.

    That certainly could be it. More revs = more vibration of the motor and if the manifolds aren't properly secured to the motor, well you can get all sorts of noise. I had to have new manifolds put on last year, and had at least 2 broken studs.

    I definitely misdiagnosed piston slap too....definitely grab some audio. If it is lifter noise, or perhaps as an all around suggestion, I'd run a quart of trans fluid in your next oil change. Helped quiet down my motor immensely, and only cost a few bucks. The kreen I bought was like 30+.

    Its 12k capacity, weighs 3k. The 1 7/8" ball would have just hooked up to the little motocamper directly.....and is what I should have done. I guess I wasnt clear on that.
