Ride quality, what does a bad front diff feel like?

So in various other threads, I've mentioned both of the following; -My ride comfort is non existant. It's like riding in a lumber truck, and I have all new joints, and suspension parts. I get that it's a 2500, and its still and rigged for towing. But i get weird vibrations all the time at the...

Front diff has some major problems...what should I start doing?

Well seeing the posts about the front diff at RA for 750 bucks is really the way to go. Not nearly the major expense I was expecting. What disappoints me is that the body is starting to go down hill. So, I'll have to determine what I want to do in that regard. Fight a losing battle, or just...

Front diff has some major problems...what should I start doing?

I started looking around, and it looks like the front diff replacement is about 1300 bucks. Not too bad really...

Front diff has some major problems...what should I start doing?

So, I listed the burb. I cant stop throwing money into a hole in the ground. The damned of it now is that it's running pretty well. No exhaust noise, motor seems smooth as silk, trans is fine. The body is right at the edge of erupting, which is sad... Last year I did a oil change of the front...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Put the Detroit axle bearings on this evening. What an easy job. I was expecting with a 13 year old truck that it would be a pain in the ass. Everything came off and reassembled very smoothly. Only had to torch up one bolt on the caliper bracket and only smashed a finger once. I know everyone...

That's why I go to sams club. Their app is awesome with the scan n go feature. Scan while you shop, swipe to check out, skip the lines. I dont understand why people sit there in lines anymore.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

No, that's the weird thing...it kinda worked fine and got progressively worse until just a month or two ago when it gave me the SERVICE PARK ASSIST message.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Fixed the parking assist sensors last night. I dont know why they worked for so long, but back in like 2018 when I had some pieces of the truck painted, they painted the rear bumper cover and over the sensors. I would have thought they knew better, but it was a budget job. Scraped the paint off...

Can someone help with trailer braking?

Do know that you'll likely need an extended shank due to the high level of the hitch on the suburban. I think mine was like 89 bucks in ebay.

I drilled a hole in the dash to keep the crack down the center from getting bigger. Gonna plastic weld the forward end of the crack to keep it from separating and then get a good ole carpet dash mat. Time has come.

    Service parking assist

Not sure if this is exterior...or electronics... but whatever it's here. My parking assist has been dying a slow death. Worked great with I got the burb, and it has slowly been more and more unreliable. When reversing sometimes it just beeps like crazy when there's nothing there, sometimes it...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

No it's not leaking now. They just didn't put on what I gave them to put on. They could have told me to pound sand. The original repair was 18 mos ago, and their warranty is 12. Every other shop wanted 4-600 for one side gasket removal plus extra for the extractions.

You mean these? http://catalog.remflex.com/CHEVROLET_GM_CHEVY_Header_Exhaust_Manifold_Gasket_p/2008.htm I may not understand your question but those are what I bought.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I was pretty clear I won't do business with them again but so many weird red flags. Like he told me that they were pulling the plug wires off and they were just destroyed from removal.... But the plugs and the wires are like a year old. And then about the gasket. I'm considering trying to get...

My only thought is, is that they pocketed them for their own use, and put the standard stuff on mine. I still only paid about 30% of retail on this repair.

Got the burb back from the muffler shop and the new gasket and arp bolts are in. I'm not sure if I keep catching bad breaks or what but they somehow screwed up the remflex gasket. I'm not sure if this shop is incompetent or I just keep getting dealt a crap hand but they claimed the gasket 'blew...

Front & Rear Heater Core Flush

Curious to know too. I plan on doing a cooling system hardening myself within a few months. I know I'm going to backwash the heater core.. But curious to hear the word on the rear unit as well.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I went on behalf of the burb to the exhaust shop that did the manifold replacement in 2018. Some may remember that I had my manifolds replaced and a few broken bolts extracted at that time. Well, I have another broken bolt. So, I made a deal with them, and while it wasnt free, it was basically...

Taking a road trip - any ideas or recommendations?

46 bucks at rock auto or Amazon and these aftermarket units don't have that 'safety feature'. I replaced mine a few months ago. As long as you can get the spare out... It's a 5 minute job. Drench it in fluid film before and after install.
