    Hopefully about 2 weeks. Really just have to wait for the paperwork to get to them and for them to mail back the new title. Once I have it, I can drive it.

    Well, the inspector came at like 5 yesterday. Looked over all the paperwork and the Avalanche and it PASSED! Next step will be mailing off all of the paperwork today and waiting for the new title to come in the mail.

    Well, I went and cleaned out the Avalanche on my lunch break today. Tosse the blown bag and seat belts and got a bunch of trash out. Checked and made sure all lights worked and that there were no lights on the dash. Everything looked great. Very anxious for tomorrow! Even if it passes...

    Well tomorrow will tell me if the work has paid off, or if I am going to have to replace the bumper reinforcement...If I have to replace it and have it re inspected, it will be another 2 weeks before the inspector comes back out this way.

    So I went out on my lunch break and replaced the driver airbag. Probably one of the most intense moments of my life. Even with the battery disconnected and everything, it made me very nervous!     You can barely see it in this picture on the bottom right with the mud on it next to the upper grill. Has some clips that clip in to the bottom of the fender, then some kind of double sided tape that hold it on to the body.

    So I was able to get a few parts on this evening. Fender. Bumper cover. Headlights and one fog light. They sent some 2 right dogs instead of one per side. Still missing a few small pieces, but once I get everything, I will alight the hood and button everything up. Here are a few pics...
