07 Tahoe Idling strange
Funny I am here for the same reason. I cleaned my TB and my RPM's are high when idleing. Everthing I've read says it will "relearn" over a period of a few days. I'll give a few days and see what happens.- fco_gonzo

Thank you. Yes I was referring to the black plastic. Two solutions, go with one size tires (35's) or change the wheels out. New Tires! Nitto Trail Grapplers
I also have those tires on my tahoe, 35 x 12.5 18, they look mean and tough. Do you think they ride hard, maybe its just me? Overall pretty happy with mine.- fco_gonzo

Lift Kits or Front spacers???
Ken, I would try to get all this done a shop that has done this before, normally I stay away from the dealership for aftermarket stuff. In my experience, the dealer had the least amount of knowledge when it came to aftermarket stuff. Take your time, shop around, and you'll find a good shop...- fco_gonzo

It's been awhile...
The 9000's hold up pretty good off road. but if I had to do it all over again I would go with King Shocks front and back. I can't believe that old site just doesn't disappear into cyberspace. When I google this site the old site came up, I deleted all my stuff from the other sitebut somehow...- fco_gonzo

Bought 35/12.5/18 Nitto trail grapplers
Just checking for an update... I recently installed the same tires on my tahoe, even with a Rancho 4 inch lift and spacers in the front I still have a bit of rubbing. The Nitto's run slightly bigger than my old BFG's KM2's and slightly quieter on the highway. Overall, I am really happy with...- fco_gonzo

Looking for a wheel set up for my lifted Z71
the wheels I currently have 5.75 inches of backspacing, no problems. my previous set were less than that ,if you click on my car domain and go to the second page you'll see my frsit set, as you can see they have very little lip and i had about less than a quater of an inch between my sidewall...- fco_gonzo

the problem i had, was that my wheels were rubbing againist the tire, no clearence between the sidewall and the "a-arm". you have to be careful otherwise you'll rub a circle in the sidewall and you'll have a blowout. you could go with 20's that should be enought to clear the "a-arms", I have no...- fco_gonzo

personally I like 16's or maybe 17's becuase when you air down it creates a larger "foot print" now with that being said I have 18's becuase thats what came with my truck, 20's were out of question because of what I wrote early. just remember if you go with a rancho 4 inch lift you'll need at...- fco_gonzo
