I have used soapy water in spray bottle. Just do it when the exhaust is cold in the first few min of starting. If you have a leak it will bubble. Mix some dish soap with water.
Yeah the 15-17 model years have some issues. But that doesn’t mean the 18-20’s are free of issues either. I hear ya on not wanting to constantly fixing. If you are seriously looking I would wait a bit longer. The used cars are piling up. Heck dealers don’t want to even take the lease turn in’s...
I have always used the OEM filters in all my cars since I started driving. Never had any engine issues. I just do it for peace of mind just in the rare case I have an issue, they can’t blame oil filter as cause. You know quick to blame it something the owner did or didn’t do.
If your in good with your local dealer just go and and ask the service manager to look up the vin for you. They can see EVERYTHING that was done at any dealership. More detailed than carfax. Lots of times carfax lists “vehicle serviced”. So it’s hard to gauge what was done. Just ask if you don’t...
Maybe they think the economy will snap right back once things open. I don’t think it will. It’s going to take time. A long time

Maybe if it sits there long enough they will pay someone to take it away. Just like the oil market was earlier in week.

Most police stations will allow in person transaction with officer present. If they are a scammer they won’t show. Just call ahead and ask the station.

I found this video helpful. I’m sure it’s the same for the 6 speed as well with the exception of the dipstick. I like how he just puts a little pressure on exhaust.

My 18 Tahoe has the fuel pump fuse in the engine compartment block. It’s #22. Or you can use the run/crank relay located on the inside left panel. It’s #53. All the info is in the manual. There different ways to work it.

I was coming down some mountains in pa and on the DIC I noticed it said grade braking. Never knew I had this option. It did a fairly nice job. Should come in handy if I ever tow.

What I see happening is that governments will be sneaking in some more gas taxes. It’s cheap now, motorists are consumed with corona and no one will care/notice. They are losing a lot of revenue without people buying fuel.

Have costco selling reg at 1.75 and premium 2.09. All other stations are still at 2.15 for reg some at 2.30. They are definitely taking advantage of price for profit.
