So I replaced the pump. It was fine for a little over a week. It has started leaking again. It isn't enough to find the leek though at present. I used the gaskets that came with the pump as well as rtv silicon.
I was able to break the nut in question lose with a 1/4 15mm but could not get anything on the top right nut. I gave up. My right hand was bruised and battered. The stealership charged about a grand. The part runs about $250 so they bent me over on labor. I am out of town so I haven't picked it...
The bolt is behind this bracket.
I have the nut off the top and the bolt out of the bottom. I am fighting the bolt that comes in from the firewall side of the bracket but I am not sure if removing it will help.
I have located the bolts. The loweright bolt is directly behind a mount for the adjustable brake pedal. I can barely get a socket in there much less a rachet. Has anyone performed this swap.
My hydroboost is leaking. I am trying to swap it out but all of the adjustable pedal setup is in the way. I can't even locate the upper right bolt. Has anyone done this one any tips?
