The Code Alarm systems that I see seem to have a siren, do they use the horn as well? The CA6551 system looks nice. Anyone have that one? It appears to the their best alarm.- Danzigman

Locking gas cap for the tahoe
ACDelco 12F20L Locking Fuel Cap is a motorad cap in an ac delco box. I gave it a try and it causes the tighten gas cap error message then causes a check engine light. Pass on this one... -

Tint on my PPV
So you had to pay for the tint on your patrol vehicle? Must be nice to be able to ignore the ignorant tint laws. The legal 30% or so on the fronts is a joke, it is like not having tint at all. Before moving to Texas I always kept 5% on all of my cars. How is backing it at night with the dark tent. -
Weathertech observation
So yours is just sitting in place? My pass side does that pretty well, but the drivers side is all over the place. -

Good to know, when they were coming to Houston last year I asked about it on here. Someone told me that I couldn't get one for my '05. That was a major reason why I didn't get a tune. I wanted to be able to switch back if needed for warranty issues.- Danzigman

04 Tahoe Steering Column Noise?
My '05 has started making a rattling type sound in the sterring every now an then. It seems to have just started recently. What could this be? -

Weathertech observation
Yea, my driver's side slides all the time. The stupid car wash jockie yanked the screw in stud out of the carpet so now it will not stay in place. For some reason the pass side stays put. -
