Don't worry about it. If its not leaking oil then it's not drilled all the way through.
I need to replace my inner tie rods but that is the only bad parts on my front suspension. My noise sounds just like everyone is describing so I'm going to check out the crossmember bolts.

Mine pops when I come off a curb with the wheel turned to one side. I assumed it was from lowering it. Ill be looking into it soon since I have to do some other front end work on my truck.
Most people that talk to me in person say they like my truck. I say with online people between here and GMFS it's about 50/50 whether they like it or not. I think it looks way better on the longer body than on a Tahoe though.

So the only 2 options for all red tails like in Soulsea's sig are the G4s that seem to have a pretty good bit of problems with hyper flash or condensation or the G5s and I would have to get Esky appliqués for them to look right.

Your wheels look real good but how long have they been on your truck? There is not too many people on here that can rag on you for changing wheels too often. Myself included.
