You guys are making me nervous about putting the kit on my 07 with all the Stabilitrak issues on these trucks after lowering them.
The truck does look good though. I'm a sucker for a lowered Burban
When they are brand new they are touching. I don't have an exact measurement of how much they should be touching but I assume that since you have 214k miles that your bars have sagged some. So im sure your truck could benefit from a small crank on the front bars. Maybe NORCAL SS knows what an...
Get them. Mine are gloss black and my truck is white. Im not a big fan of colormatched vent caps on a NBS truck. I think they look best in gloss black regardless of the color of the truck.
They would look fine in pink compared to the horrible factory ones with all the holes in them.
I kinda need to rephrase my last statement. It won't help make it ride better but it will have more control. It helps to dampen the initial bouncyness of the torsion bars. So it will feel more in control over smaller bumps.
They are easy to change. It's just hard to swallow spending almost $60...
The pillars look alright in CF but in your case the pillars need to be white to match the body or CF to match the spoiler.
Also that is one of the most hideous looking Range Rovers I've ever seen. That body kit is awful.
Find another shop. Either there is play in the idler and pitman arm or there isn't. They are basically a reciprocating ball in a socket. It's not rocket science. If someone competent says they are fine then we can work from there.
Actually at stock height they are supposed to touch. It's actually part of the suspension dampening. I've worked on plenty of theses trucks and majority of them have worn out bumpstops but once they are replaced the truck rides so much better.
That is interesting to see but the OPs truck might look better.
I'll bet youve never seen him attempt to pet a dog.

He goes to a bar and asks for four fingers of whiskey and they bring him the whole bottle.
Glad I saw this post before I did mine since the wires seem to come loose that easy. I don't need a call from the wife saying the ABS light came on.
Now that your truck is fixed where are the pictures? Or did I miss a seperate thread?
Scroll down on this page I have in the link. Look at the way the coil packs and brackets bolt up on the 5.3 when it's in the Impala SS. Im sure its probably the same valve covers. Even though that pic is the opposite side thats in your pic. Hopefully this will satisfy your curiosity...
Getting people mixed up on here. You were the one that painted your grill silver. Sorry. Absolutely leave the front bumper silver. It looked perfect with the grill colormatched.
Bringing back to top.
Im about to do my drop kit / TA relocators on my 07. So do I need to buy another set of these size bolts listed above in Grade 8. I want to get this all done at the same time while Im under the truck.
Also in the instructions it just says dont overtighten the...
I just used some Rustoleum black wheel paint (not positive about the name right now). All I did was scuff up the original silver paint with a scotchbrite pad. Wiped them down with Acrosol and sprayed them. They have been on for a year with 0 peeling. I figured they wouldnt last but they have...
Thats looks great.
I dont think it would look good with chrome side moldings. It looks perfect with the body colored ones.
People are getting carried away with the chrome lately. And NO esky roofrack.
