    My sentiments exactly except I had a 2003, the gas gauge and speedometer stopped working but that was easy workaround with the 'distance until empty' readout and a GPS device w/speed. Other than that, just drove the wife and I and 4 kids everywhere!

    Happy wife, happy life. You can quote me on that Take your battery receipt, scan it or snap a high resolution pic and store it on computer or phone. Then keep that original receipt in the glove box for the future for pro-rated warranty or whatever. Glad you got it solved.

    Interesting, I have a 2015 Yukon with a gas cap that is only capable of 1 click. I do the gas cap cleaning/maintenance regularly. For me, I also tend to troubleshoot and fix something then clear the code to see if it returns. Not sure it's right or wrong, it's just what I've done.

    Good that you first checked the gas cap. Inspect it closely, check the seal too. And is it covered with fuel resin. And is it more like the one on the left or the right.

    Concur on the power running boards question. This buzz also happens to me when I unlock in the garage. But I thought it was more prevalent when turned on the headlights to check them, like it was the aftermarket Marsauto HIDS I just installed.
