    Some thug broke into my vehicle and smashed my drivers side window in my '21 Tahoe. Do I have to take it to a dealership?

    I used safelite a few years ago on a Pathfinder after I smartly shot a rock through the window w/a weedwacker. Did a good job and did it quickly.

    I thought new vehicles came with an abbreviated version of the OM, basically covering emergency type issues w/the full version online. My ‘23 came w/something but not a full manual.

    Got it back this evening. Let’s hope the new battery solves the problem. Love driving this thing when it’s working but I can’t have my wife or 16 year old daughter driving something that’s going to strand them somewhere.

    Update: service rep called today and said they replaced battery and everything is functioning as should. Tech drove home last night and back again this am w/no issues. They’re keeping it for the weekend and will retest everything on Monday. One question is that they claim to have tested...

    Seemed more electronic than mechanical, so I’m guessing some kind of control module. Battery/charging seemed fine and all electrics worked but wouldn’t even crank, then after resting was ok. will keep folks posted.

    2023 Duramax High Country, less than 1 month old, approx 2200 miles. periodic check engine light and 2 instances of “limp mode” (top speed of 62mph). Went to start this afternoon and wouldn’t crank but flashed every warning message possible. 30 min later, started, drove 2 miles and died, again...

    6.2L or Duramax reliability

    I have a 2014 A6 TDI w/over 100k miles and it runs like a train w/no issues on the emissions side in 10 years. As for why diesels were transferred to passenger cars, you can thank government functionaries who decided to impose onerous taxes on gasoline engines based on displacement.

    Might be better off searching inventory on the Chevy website a seeing what’s in stock or in transit. I had to drive 100 miles but found your build (ex- rear seat ent and w/std wheels) in transit to a dealer.

    Monthly payments

    Agree that having a payment doesn’t mean you’re irresponsible, but you also can’t bank on 10-20% investment returns going forward. The stock market has been irrational the past 10 years and always reverts to long term norms. Buckle up.

    Dark Ash Metallic 2023

    Seems like it’s not quite as dark in sunlight (a bit more blue/purple as noted) as my 2017 Tungsten metallic.
