Did an oil change and swapped spark plugs.
Original plugs were 41-110, those have been discontinued.
Plugs 41-162 went in.
To make the passenger rear easier on my my geriatric self, I removed the right front wheel and went through the wheel well.
I also took the time to properly use dielectric...
I've driven my cousin's truck on a few long trips because he wasn't as comfortable towing as I am.
We were transporting cars about 1,200 miles.
I have zero complaints with the F350.
Very comfortable, tows amazing and tons of power.
The nav can be a little wonky but other than that, it is a...
Congrats on the new rig.
My cousin has a F350 with the 6.7 and that thing is a beast.
Tows pretty much anything you'd want it to and has tons of power.
I had to wait until I was retired and moved out of Calif before I got my dream shop.
Hopefully, I will have many years in this shop to get projects and regular maintenance stuff done.
After moving all my stuff, which I am still not done with, I am never moving again.
It got down to -17* last winter here.
Is that winter enough for you?
Luckily, my cars will be in my shop this winter instead of sitting outside in the cold and snow.
First small service in the new shop.
Just an oil change but it's a milestone.
Not all my tools are here so it's only little things on the agenda for now.
Replaced the front passenger, outside door handle yesterday.
It was a PIA because I bought a cheap Amazon one.
Went with that one because it would arrive faster than the other ones and the dealer wanted over $100 for the handle.
Had to do a little filing to adjust how the handle fit into the...
The inside portion of the handle let go.
Still attached at the hinge point but the arm at the end of the inside is no longer connected.
Haven't taken the door panel off since I am in the middle of moving and all my stuff is scattered between 3 different places at the moment.
The front passenger outside door handle just broke.
I ordered another one since the only place around here is the dealer and they want almost $100 for one.
I go through Farson every time I come up this way.
There used to be an older lady that worked at the gas station in Farson.
She went back to college and finished her degree in her mid 80's.
Super nice lady.
Sadly, she passed a few years ago.
My dash cracked on the passenger side up by the windshield vents.
The center speaker is obviously not supported by anything other than the thin dash cover so I pulled the speaker out and stuffed a bunch of foam under the speaker.
The center speaker no longer bounces and makes noise over bumps.
Pulled the passenger seat power switches apart since the seat stopped reclining.
Didn't have contact cleaner so I just sprayed the inside with air and it works again.
