Two reasonons: 1. I read somewhere that you should. 2. When pulling that hose on the passenger side when I was dismantling the old engine and removing the intake manifold - there was a little oil in that tube. Hit 700 miles on the new engine. Absolutely love this upgrade. Changed the oil yesterday. All looking good. Pushed it a little harder today. Spun the wheels taking off and again when hitting second gear. Squawked the tires when hitting third. This thing moves.- RAMurphy

They are Evil Energy AN6 Hoses, fittings and hose clamps. I will say the AN6 hose was a tight fit but I made it work - just took a bit of elbow grease and some extra force. I ordered some AN8 hose and fittings for the catch can on the passenger side catch can. I will post on this build thread if...- RAMurphy

I will be taking a conservative approach to my break in. You are correct no WOT during initial break in. I plan to change the oil in a few more miles. Then again at 500 miles from the initial oil change. Then again at 1500 miles. From there standard oil changes.- RAMurphy

After driving the girl yesterday, I topped off the fluids (coolant and transmission (after warming it up a bit)) this morning. Put just over 50 miles on it today. Really love this new engine. Very productive and successful day today. After a very long time coming, she is in and started on the first crank. Boy, was I nervous. Had a sticking lifter on the driver's side.
