My pressure are best when I run the wix filters as well… 40-45 cruising, 30-35 idle. My truck has 230,000 miles so I’m thinking these pressures are great for that mileage
Nothing failed. It happens. That’s how I can tell I’m due for a change beside looking at the OLI, my hot idle drops under 25psi. New oil and filter and it comes back to normal. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!
Oil change with fresh filter gets mine back up to 30-35 hot idle. I can tell when it’s been a while bacause mine starts drifting down to 20-25 hotidle.
Sadly no bypass. Get some sensors and have em installed. Depending on what year model your truck is the remote key fob may be able to program them. Always helpful to fill in your details for your signature.
Thanks, just frustrated it crapped out on me the day before Christmas Eve. It runs great, I’ll fix it and keep it till it dies. My fault for not noticing the pm needed addressed…
Temps dropped here in Dallas. Somehow both upper ball joints are toast. Not a peep now boom, can’t drive the thing… I mean I could but not with my kid in the car… so waiting on parts from RA so I can attempt a repair in my Apt complex parking lot… got the Mevotech daily driver front end kit...
You’re lucky. You’d have their lives on your conscience. All for a few minutes of childish behavior. May the odds be forever in your favor. You’re gonna need all the luck you can get if you keep driving like a pissed off teenager.
