    2022 Yukon Denali: Dealer Markup?

Every dealer I've talked to is motivated to take an order some want a down payment some don't. No way those orders can be filled.

Anybody else get the 20s on their Denali?

Yet some still prefer function over form and I'm one of them. Those rubberband tires look silly to me worse than any wheel I've ever seen the ghetto look doesn't appeal to me.

Stick to your guns don't let vanity overcome common sense and practicality.

    Reconsidering my order

My reasons for calling weren't necessarily about updates rather how the process works, how many allocations they received last month and where I might be on the list. Another time at a different dealership I was asking for a copy of our sales agreement, after the second request I cancelled...

    Reconsidering my order

It's a common problem these days that once a dealership gets an order they will ignore you. A trick I use is to borrow a friend's phone and ask for sales, they think they have a fresh bite and put you right through.

What did you do to your 21+ T1XX today?

Here is a run-down of how a driver decided not to let a car merge. Good illustration of how little egos can be dangerous. https://www.cadillacforums.com/threads/my-dts-got-wrecked.1119257/

Because when little Johnny sticks a paper clip in the electrical socket it's a good idea to explain why he shouldn't.

Once your car is delivered to the dealer, when do they typically have you come by to sign and then leave with your new car?

Why not wait till Saturday so not to miss work? Call your insurance company, mine insures any new car that I may purchase.

    Edited: it's not worth it.

Radio today: Truck demand goes south - Any rumors?

I called a dealer about ordering a CT5 and was offered an opportunity to take a Yukon Denali with a 6.2L whose buyer backed out. It's the only dealer I have talked to all year so was it chance or a new trend.

    Expedition vs Yukon

My 2012 has no noticeable shake and idles smoothly. I'm not saying I'm not in denial but I'm really **** about how my truck is running. Mommy won't let me say ****.

How happy are you with your 2021/22 Tahoe/Yukon?

I've decided to keep my 2012 Hoe and buy a CT5. The market is a bit frothy in this sector.

    Gas prices making anyone reconsider?

I think I'll go with a new CT5 I'll just have to learn to pack better and take less. The decision is partly due to fuel prices and partly due to the large size of these vehicles. They've just gotten too large plus I'm ready to drive something a bit more responsive and fun. Gas prices are...

Found this beauty on the lot this week!

I agree and when I see one of these I'm always surprised at how good they look in white plus it is the most practical for hiding finish flaws, it's the coolest, literally, and no cost option always.

    Gas prices making anyone reconsider?

I'd think it would be easy picking up a cancelled Denali 6.2 about now actually ran into one while calling about another model. Bad omen or curious accident?

It's not bad but it isn't good either compared to the Denali. And the only colors are black and pumpkin, $70,000 and the only colors are black and pumpkin.

How happy are you with your 2021/22 Tahoe/Yukon?

I prefer the exterior of the Tahoe over the Yukon. Don't really care for the interiors of either except for the Denali hopefully the mid cycle refresh makes them easier to look at.

Does anyone else feel these vehicles are becoming too large. My 2012 is just right and I feel this size might provide even better fuel economy today. For parking lots it's just right even without cameras on every corner.

Resale value - Will we see a disaster?

Here's to the simpler life when things could be repaired and we weren't always running after the new thing. It's starting to come back to me.

Unleaded Gas type -2021 GMC Yukon Xl

My 5.3 likes select brands and when it gets those brands it runs just fine on 87 octane. Which brands you might ask: CountryMark, Exxon Mobil, BP, Marathon will do in a pinch. Nothing worse than buying some crap Kroger gas and hitting the steep grades while it pukes all over the highway.

By leasing he would know his losses up front.

Who me? Never lease always cash.

Resale value - Will we see a disaster?

Never order a vehicle with resale in mind, that $4,000 option will be worth 50% what you paid for it along with the rest of the vehicle. That stripped down version will return better.

2022 Yukon Denali (One Month Report/Notes)

With these vehicles being dependent on phones for major features to work properly shouldn't a phone come with?
