For my original setup, I had long tubes, catted y-pipe, going into the oem muffler and tailpipe on a stock 6.2L and it was hardly audible compared to stock. So this can be a very debatable subject and all the youtube videos in the world don't always do justice. Best bet is finding some similar...
Yeah, I did end up getting the new seal kit that came with the umbrellas and the o-rings and yup, I replaced them all.
I got it all back together yesterday. When I first started it up, it was still running rough. But I used my scanner to clear the cel codes, let it sit overnight, then tried it...
There doesn't appear to be a spark plug leak. The readings that I'm getting from my multimeter test are leading me to change the injector and see how it runs after that. I also switched ignition coil 6 and 2, so if that's contributing to the issue, the code should follow it.
Currently...
Having my first issue at 191k. Cylinder 6 misfire, P0206, led me down the rabbit hole. I first took the valve cover off and observed all the rockers which appeared to be rocking, no loose rocker bearings, no bent lifters, no signs of collapsed lifters. I then went under the intake manifold and...
I have a set of 4, with a good amount of tread left. Evenly worn tread. Tire pressure sensors will need to be replaced. Will include the center caps along with the threaded lug nuts needed to mount them. Located in the DC area but can discuss meeting up within reason.
I'll grab the DOT numbers...
The only reoccurring thing has been the grill shudders, I've already changed them once, just started throwing a code for the second time in the 3 years I've had it. Everything else has been just typical wear and tear items. Tire pressure sensors, etc
I also like the way the 10 speed kicks down when it's called for. My transmission is still untuned, but always seems to find the right gear. Not sure if it's been said yet, but there
I've had my 2018 Tahoe Premier for 3 years now, from 114k miles to 187k currently. I've changed the fluid once, getting ready to change it again. No issues to report, and I beat this thing UP.
I installed a h.o. alternator but reused the exact same belt. But when I compared them side by side, the old and new units has the same diameter pulleys.
Any pics of the big 3 upgrade? I've been thinking about doing that, so I'm wondering what mounting points you used?
Coolant reservoir isn't even in frame for the first couple pictures, so it was probably moved out of the way in order to get it to fit. The H7 BARELY fits, I just did mine a month ago.
On another note, I'm on board the Valvoline R&P bandwagon because I did my oil this weekend and it's running...
I've used a few different Auxito models on a few different vehicles and they have always been an improvement. Currently running the Y19 regular beams and M3S fogs, both have been great improvements for visibility.
