    Ordering correct transmission cooler lines

Hi All- This thread came up on a search i ran here for transmission cooler lines. I have the standard return line leak that i see is common out there. I am trying to find the torque spec for the bolt that holds the block that attaches the two lines to the driver's side of the transmission. I...

I know this has been a year, but I resolved my issue with my seats and thought i would share. My heated and cooled seats for both passenger and drivers side work great now and have been for the past 8 months or so. Buy watching this guy's YouTube video, i was able to fix my plug. You can do...

    Tahoe #8 Spark Plug access

This is the way. Did it this way on mine and took no more time than others on that side. I was totally surprised after reading the nightmare that was my future on #8. I climbed off the top of the engine bay and thought, wow, that wasnt bad at all. I had a 1993 camaro with the gen1 LT1...

Ok. Follow up or update I guess you would call it. I ordered and received my Tech 2. Seems to work exactly as it should. No issues. I did find that I have some updates to BCMs that I could download. I’m not sure that I will. I do want to download the automatic lock door cancel calibration. I...

Sad day... Didn't even get to drive her for 5 days without the lifter going...

Different service department near you I guess. He argued for hours with the service manager and they still ONLY replaced the one side quoting a 8,000 mile cutoff. He was not happy to say the least.

Yes it does, amongst other things like throttle sensitivity, auto start stop permanent deactivating. Changes the exhaust note at slow speed downshifting because it’s not in cylinder deactivation and doesn’t sound like a helicopter. PULSAR LT

Finally Jumped on the Oil Catch Can Bandwagon

I was a little hesitant or unsure of why this was a good addition as well, but I can tell you that after the catch can, drivers side valve cover and AFM disable (Range Tech) my Tahoe stopped using oil between changes. I was using about a quart every 3K, especially after long road trip. Now...

Sad day... Didn't even get to drive her for 5 days without the lifter going...

It’s 6.2 also. A coworker of mine just had this happen to him. 2021 Denali with 8,300 miles. Left him on the side of the highway. Had it towed to the dealer. They told him that there is a TSB for this and if the mileage is less than 8,000 miles then they replace all lifters. If over 8,000 miles...

Thank you all for the prompt replies. I think I am back to a good understanding, but A few follow up questions if you don’t mind. 1. So I don’t need my old laptop running XP and no need to go through all the downloading of Tis2000 software? I saw a YouTube video (21 min mark) where the guy...

Hi All, Love the forum. Great place for information and to learn from. I have come to a crossroads and I have no idea where to go now. Ok, so I am person of research but this time I think I’ve just confused myself more. I have read as many post here on the Tech 2 as I can find but with...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Well….I wouldn’t say cheap. I have the whole set listed online for over $400, but that’s a best offer auction. That’s about what I see them going for, so I figured I would start around there. Shipping is probably $40-$50 for the box they are in. I would throw them on here in the classifieds...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yes! I love the extra storage when I bought the GM 22860866 cup holder. Huge difference. The trim and bezels are out of a Z71. They are the brushed metal look. Like this one.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Today I washed, clay bar, and then waxed my 2009 Tahoe. And then finally installed my Z71 interior trim and got rid of the woodgrain. Now what to do with the woodgrain kit?

    Under hood storage box

I use a HEFTY locking lid mini tote. I think I got it from Lowes. It’s 8x12x6.5 (LxWxH) and I hold it in place with a 18” Harbor Frieght bungie cord. Never moved. Never leaked. No issues. Love the extra space for tools and straps and stuff. On long roads trips, I load it up with all my...

Adding an aftermarket radio to 07-14 FAQ

This is the issue I am having also. I installed a pioneer 4500NEX with the GM pac module system. I used the RES retaining harness and I thought everything was good. Everything works exactly as it should with the exception of the wireless headphones. They cut in and out as we drive. The IR...
