    Swapped valve cover gaskets and bolt grommets this morning. Passenger side had one leaking pretty good, so just did it all. The OEM ones were still in there, and very brittle when i went to remove them. Hopefully this takes care of my leaks. If not...its probably oil pan gasket..ugh

    @Fless theres the p/n I did find there is a direct replacement speaker from this company powerbass that works with the Bose system, is at 2ohms and even has the GM brackets built in. They might be worth it

    My pass side rear door speaker comes and goes depending on how hard my kids slam it, and it just hums annoyingly when its on. Anyone have a stock bose rear speaker they want to get rid of? Not ready to toss aftermarkets in it yet but I might just anyway

    oil change done, block off plate swapped, so far it seems to have caught the major leak. just waiting on valve cover gaskets now, passenger side is leaking either at the rear or the rear bolt grommit, but its not near as bad as the block off plate. Still nothing new with the gauge cluster...

    So this was fun, driving home from work, stopped at the hobby shop to get soem RC parts, get back in truck and all my gauges are dead. DIC is dead, no gear indicator, chimes 3 times. Runs and drives just fine. Shut it off, opened the door to clear the power, restart, same thing. Drive it home...

    SO this is the Tahoe's 3rd trip to the Gulf. 1st trip was 5.3 WITH DoD - averaged around 25 mpg Last year was 5.3 DoD Delete ( during summer ) averaged right around 20-21 mpg This year went in March - so winter blend gas and averaged just under 19 mpg

    Wasnt today but last weekend concluded a 2000 mile round trip adventure from the Midwest to the Gulf Coast and back. Tahoe did just lovely with the drive and 5 people in it. Still managed to keep the luggage low enough to see out of all the windows

    changed oil today, made a giant mess because i wasnt thinking today, and swapped out my other 12 volt outlet in the center console to a USB port so now wifey and I can each have one. goign to be prepping it for travel this week

    Considering Nitto Terra Grappler G2 265/70/18 vs. Falken ATW4 275/70/18

    I dont have experience 1st hand with the Nitto's, though they are a good tire, I am a firm believer in the Wildpeaks. I have them on my tahoe now and they are hands down the best all terrain ive ever driven on...bfg at included in that mix. they are so good in the snow, i rarely even need 4wd...
