    about a month ago I took all the fuseblock apart and cleaned it all with purple cleaner and a wire brush got it crystal clean. Blew it all out, sat it out in the son for a week. Looks new. Looks fine, but I noticed I had replaced the connector to the blower, and the connectors are all burned up, and the wires got so hot it melted the loom and melted two wires together. I...

    what I dont get is , this tahoe has been bulletproof for years and years and years. Then all of a suddenj wham, now its just frustrating. To me, it starts right up, when its about to do its thing last night, it sounded like the flap in the throttle body was fluttering. That is new. Weird.

    Nope all original. If it goes out, I can do it myself. 4l60 and 4l80 basically a turbo 400 with overdrive.

    Here is a tip guys. Pull up the plastic schroud for the fuse box under the hood look to the right straight down whala brownh wire. Check it with you volt meter and hook it up easy peasy. I dont like messing around under the dash if I dont have to. Old knees in such and its much cleaner and...

    300 thousand miles!

    Pulling motor to reseal. Tahoe has 315 thousand miles and original tranny fellas. Ever seen that! Anyway, should I change rings n bearings n valve seals while ive got it out. Maybe a new timing chain? Yes I am new here! Eldiablo
