    Im not really following but I could almost guarantee you cant just simply replace a Bose amp with a non Bose amp without some reprogramming of the whole unit.

    Right. It might clear a code initially but if the issue is still there the code will come right back after the cycles are complete. If you fixed the issue and the code is still there you might just need to drive it 50-80 miles to complete cycle checks and it should go away. Not much info to go...
