After a couple of weeks now with the Detroit Axle struts, I am going to remove them and replace them with something else. The Tahoe LTZ is so rough now it just beats you to death. Magnetic ride struts
2017 Tahoe LTZ. My struts were leaking at 80,000. This weekend I put on new Detroit Axle Magnetic ride struts. They are really really stiff. They are much harsher than the originals. Are the 2021+ Tahoes that much better than a 2020?
2021 5.3 22-25 highway depending on speed. 2024 6.2 17-18 highway depend on speed 2021 with 5000 lb boat 10 on highway 2024 with 5000 lb boat 12 on highway- Skywagon

Cost to replace shocks/struts
I have air ride on mine. I replaced the rears myself in about 2 hours. The cost per air ride shock was $130 each at Carparts.com....no affiliation. I have not tackled the front struts because it is a good bit harder to do.- Skywagon
