    ok since I'm posting this, bad news. the oil pressure issue was not caused by the sensor, had bad rod bearings and scratched cylinder walls on the 5.3. previous owner neglected it bad. now the good news. a customer of ours with a 07 Tahoe is paying us to do a 6.0 swap so I get the 4.8 and 4l60e...

    i need a ecu pinout for a 07 suburban 5.3 flex fuel. reason is im relocating my oil pressure sensor and need to know what 3 wires go to the sensor to "add a longer pigtail*

    CEL for P0420, P0430, P0171, P0131, P0134

    change the down stream sensors before replacing the cats. even if it still has cat codes after the down streams, ya needed the sensors anyway as they need to be replaced when the cats are replaced for proper readings

    how's the truck running? any struggling for power or can ya full send it? may be bad downstream sensors. the bad upstreams lying to the ecu could have messed with readings sending more fuel killing the downstreams. i had cat codes on the 07, changed the downs and passed emissions test

    so to put a gen3 engine into a 07 to 14 gen4, the way I'm planning it, you would have to swap the crank as the gen4 has a 58x reluctor and the gen3 is 24x and front timing cover as the cam sensor is on front cover. and of course, mount the knock sensors to the sides of block.     see? that was my idea. to leave the hood and fenders, run metal plates across the frame rails, and store a couple 12v batteries, power inverter and a generator. its a perfect sleeper for camping, or to load up when moving
