Hi all,
I should have mentioned that I've already read (in detail) the late 2023 DMax vs 6.2L thread here on TYF.com. Also, prior to my original post, I watched the above review by Getty's Garage, as well as some of his other reviews as commercial diesel mechanic, such as his complementary...
I've recently been posting about GMC configurator issues as I try to get the Denali Reserve package (for its SuperCruise, alongside other features) as well as the Premium Capability Package with Active Response 4WD (included with Denali Reserve in MY2024, but separate option for MY2025, with...
Thanks, but I don't have a dealer, yet. I never talk to dealers until I'm ready to negotiate for exact car I want to buy. I find I do much better on discount to MSRP through that process... (Usually close within 4-8 hours of first contact as there's no wasted back and forth.)
Welcome any...
The more that I play around with GMC Yukon XL configurator, the more I believe it might be subtly broken for MY2025 Duramax builds.
For example, according to GMC Fleet Guide, one should be able to configure MY2025 AT4 with LZO (Duramax) and PEH (AT4 Premium Plus).
However, when I try to do so...
Replying to myself above.
Now that I hunt this down further, I think I understand my initial confusion over the GMC configurator. It all comes down to differences in Denali engine choice.
I believe it still might NOT be possible to configure the Duramax version of the MY2025 4WD Yukon XL...
AMWWorks,
Thanks so much --- this was huge help. And, I can now independently confirm that I can configure this. I have no idea how I kept on getting some weird warnings when I did it earlier myself. I do believe that GMC configurator is much more confusing than others (especially BMW / Audi...
AMWWorks,
Yes, exactly what I'm looking for...
Can you please confirm you configured that with MY2025 Yukon XL 4WD? When I try to do that with the online GMC configurator, it removes the Denali Reserve package when I add the air-ride / eLSD...
Thanks!
Even though I've been reading the forum constantly, I last posted half-a-year-ago, when I was considering a MY2024 Yukon XL SLT vs Suburban RST. You folks were great in helping me with that! As part of that process, I also decided to wait until MY2025 release to better compare differences...
After additional searching online, I note reports that Yukon MY2025 start of regular production (SORP) is scheduled for October 7, 2024.
See following article via GM Authority blog. However, I don't know what is the back-off time from SORP of next MY to deadline to custom-order current MY...
I'm aware that the MY2025 Yukon XL is being teased right now, with expected release in late 2024.
I'd like to custom-order a MY2024 Yukon XL, and prefer that to MY2025 (mainly due to expected infotainment changes). Do any of you know if there's currently a known deadline after which GMC won't...
Appreciate the suggestions with both replies above to do virtual builds, and compare side-by-side. I've gone through that, but have found it difficult to capture every last difference between the two, since the Chevy & GMC websites use very different formats for presenting options, etc. My...
@todayusay: Great catch about the difference with ventilated seats, in addition to fog lamps. Didn't notice that one previously, but confirmed it now that you mentioned it.
As far as sunroof --- it's actually included in both builds: Suburban as individual option, and Yukon XL as part of...
Just registered on the site, and posted intro thread in the new member forum. My family is upgrading our 10-year-old minivan to full-size SUV, which we'll use for large-family / cargo hauling (exclusively with third-row up for seating), with occasional towing (probably less than 6000#s; about...
Just registered on the site, and really think it's great, with lots of detailed threads and expert advice.
We're upgrading our minivan to full-size SUV, and considering either Suburban or Yukon XL. Used to drive a GMC Acadia (first gen, significantly bigger than current ones), and will really...
