Gave it wipe down with the spray wax. Downside of compounding a whole truck is the ungodly amount of it everywhere. Even after a power wash. Also discovered my barn find Uniden CB Radio I was going to put in the Yukon is dead..But I have a Motorola brand new in box to put in instead. Also C10 is...
Mass Backing is a must. I even through 80Mil Sound Deadener on my floor of the C10. Granted shes not a quiet truck but it did help alot with the heat radiating from the floor. It also made the floor sound less tinny when driving to.
Got the Drivers Side Door Moldings off. Cut and Buffed the drivers side. Next up is the Passenger side and then an overall detail.
Have to get it ready for its first Trip in my ownership and it cant look ugly :D
Got the drivers side moldings fully removed and entire drivers side cut and buffed. Still waiting on this Michigan weather to figure out its life to get the two door flares on.
Still debating on removing the Yukon Badge from the doors.
Started the process of removing the Door Molding till my faithful rubber wheel decided it had enough. Also just a note to everyone. Wear Gloves if you dont get it all in one go. That crap is sharp lol.
Would be better to maybe Datalog from the OBD port besides parts cannoning it. It could be a number of different things. Sensors, Fuel Issues. PCM BCM dying?
Yeah..my roof is delaminating pretty bad but the PO in a rubber type paint. But I'm not willing to bite that bullet till the C10 is done. Got a couple other projects ahead of the campers roof. For now it doesnt leak canvas is in ok shape and the interior is pretty mint. I'll prob upgrade my...
Got around to test fitting my Camper to the Yukon. (Whole Reason I bought it) to measure to see what lift I wanted to do up front (1 Inch). Also had to order an 11" Drop hitch as well just cuz of how low this camper sits at level.
Camper is called "Patchwork" for obvious reasons lol.
Interesting. I'll have to do some measuring when I get home. I just want to level without squatting when I hook my popup up with maybe a slight rack with out it. If that makes sense..IMO The factory rake is a bit extreme.
Could you link me those 1/2 spacers? I dont wanna go crazy lift but I wanna get rid of the front squat on my Yukon. I think the Rough Country ones are to thick and would force me to get the back raised. I really just want to raise the front a little bit.
Perks of having a Brother in HVAC. Recharged the AC in the Yukon. It had 0 freon..so it has a leak somewhere but it works when charged.
Also got around to steam cleaning the whole inside and holy moly was it dirty..got 90% of the stains out so I call it a good day.

Spent the better part of 45 mins trying to bring back the chrome on a wheel. Its gonna be a process. But worth it Turtle Wax Chrome polish with a cone foam pad and a 3 inch foam pad and a little bit of love. Ill finish the other 3 today.
I used turtlewax chrome polish and a cone polish wheel and 3 inch buffer on my drill.
I tried just straight polishing compound but it had a werid reaction on the chrome..but the chrome polish took it right off
