    I've never seen a good carpet on anything at a Wrench a Part or Pick a Part if that's what you mean. Seems like nobody cares after they get their part. They leave the doors open all the time. And just like the last time I was there, pouring rain. It'll smell those things up something aweful.

    Got the broken junkyard bezel fixed. Plastic welded 4 broken spots at the top edge, and attached 4 missing clips. Plastic welded those on too. I sanded rough spots down, then used plastic adhesion promoter, then sprayed with charcoal grey interior trim paint. What do you think?

    I'm all fairness mine did have the plastic clips, but just like a lot of other old plastic clips, they tend to break easily when pulled on. So foam tape is probably recommended even if the clips are still there.

    I'm the same way. If I'm taking it off and gonna put it back on, it gets cleaned. If it's a used part I bought, it gets cleaned. If it's new to me, I want it to be as close to new as possible.

    Disassembled the used center console I got from Wrench a Part and cleaned it top to bottom (years of spilled sodas) and got it installed in the truck. I more thing to X off the list. Only about 50 left lol
