I am running 35's on mine I have had no problem until I increased my wheel travel to 9+ inches a few weeks ago. Now it is hitting a little... I will probably look at it soon to determine what I will need to do.. I will post up my solution.

I took it out this weekend to a popular hot springs along the Carson river. Very rough 2 hour trek in surface composed mostly of 6 to 12 inch rock covered trails with plenty of 18 to 36 inch boulders to squeeze or climb over. A dozen water crossings with 2 to 4 foot deep washouts...

The section above is the front right section to the left of the refrigerator in the below photo. Both front and rear sections are on hinges so I can lift them to access the storage area underneath.
Latest upgrade... Custom 2.5 King Shocks for my 4 inch lift... Replacing the Rancho RS 7000 coil over struts that came with the lift kit.
First step in installing front struts lift both sides and put it up on jack stands. Remove wheels, loosen the sway bar bolts (but leave them connected)...

I installed my King 2.5 DIA. REMOTE RESERVOIR COIL-OVER Performance struts today.... With my 4 inch lift I had to get longer rods the stock shocks are around 18 inches these are 23.6 inches with over 5 inches of stroke...
What gearing do you have? Do you have a two speed transfer case? A two speed will have 2H 4H and 4Lo on the dial A single speed will only have 2H and 4H
For off road and or bigger tires a high low range transfer case is really a big deal. My first set of tires that caused a big loss of MPG...
Did you compare the length of both shocks before you installed them. I was looking at the overall length specs on that shock and it was around 20 inches. My rig has a 4 inch lift and the overall on my King shocks are only 23.6
I believe stock length was around 18 inches. If that is true and...
This is with a shorter she;f section in the front allowing room for a refrigerator and the bed still fit on top. With this set up the passenger in the front seat can get to the refrigerator.
You can store all sorts of things under the shelf. This is the rear section lifted up with a 6.5...
It is very easy to build you can set it up to work with the second row seating or with no rear seats at all.
I have several configurations that I use.. Most of the time it is the two 4 foot sections with a lift up in the rear and a 3 foot wide that lifts up in the front and a refrigerator...
I actually don't open it from the inside but both the window and hatch are electric so I would guess it shouldn't be to hard to set up a switch someplace. I know my key fob also has a window release on it.
Thank you.
I am in So. California for the holidays visiting from Reno Nevada. I have a set of King shocks for a standard height suspension so their length is 4 inches to short it was not set up for a lifted Tahoe.
I visited King shocks today in Garden Grove Ca. to get my King shocks rebuilt and modified...
I have a Ranch 4 inch lift with over two inches of sag up front I plan to use the King shock to raise in up another inch in the front to total out 5 inches.
On the rear with the lift kit I have the rear wheel is re-centered with the Rancho lift kit and I am looking at putting King shocks and...
Yea but, the best part about those pavement queens is they keep their rigs nice and clean and in good shape so when it's time for them to get a new one I can swoop up a rigged up truck for cheap... lol I have friends like that, I still like them..
Too many off roaders have very inflated...
Thank you, I run a 4 inch lift now and most likely will pick up another inch for a total of 5 inches front and rear. The kings will enable more wheel travel most likely up to 8 inches or more depending on how much the axles will take... They should preform better although I have no complaints...
SUV rifle rack also doubles holding water bottles, radios, carabiner s or other stuff.
Molle pouches easily attach to the shelf too.
You can attach all kinds of stuff under the shelf.
Better King shocks to be installed soon...

I built this fold up slide out table for cooking outdoors there is also a table that mounts to the left side and the running water posted above fits in the...
I have added ton of stuff to this build... lol I will just post up some of the photos here. If you have questions feel free to ask. This is is a steel shelf I made it fits a full size 5 inch memory mattress on top.
